Scope
This policy applies to the Quotime iOS app provided by JING-XIANG ZHANG (Voss Zhang). It does not cover Apple or other third-party services you choose to access.
Information we do not collect
Quotime has no user accounts or advertising and does not include in-app analytics or behavioral tracking. The developer does not receive your name, email, contact details, device identifiers, location, or usage history.
Information stored on your device
The following information is stored locally to provide core features and is not sent to the developer:
- Saved quotes and their categories
- Custom quotes you create
- Reading styles and preferences
- Daily notification settings
Network and third-party services
Quotime downloads the developer’s publicly available quote library through the Google Sheets API. Your favorites, custom quotes, and other personal content are not uploaded in this process.
If you make an in-app purchase, Apple processes the transaction and payment information through StoreKit. The developer does not receive complete payment details. Apple handles this information under its own privacy policy.
When you use sharing, only the quote card you actively select is passed to the iOS share sheet. How it is handled afterward depends on the destination service you choose.
Retention, deletion, and your choices
Local data remains until you delete the related content in the app or remove Quotime from your device. You can disable Quotime notifications in iOS Settings and choose not to use sharing or purchasing. Because the developer does not hold personal app data about you, there is no account data for the developer to export or delete on your behalf.
Children's privacy
Quotime is not directed specifically at children and does not knowingly collect personal information from children.
This website and the app
The Voss website hosting this policy uses Cloudflare for hosting and content delivery, Google Analytics for aggregate page traffic, and Google Fonts for web typography. These website services are separate from Quotime app data practices and may process technical request information needed to provide their services under their own policies.
