Why are nearby cameras or distances not appearing?add
Open iOS Settings > Privacy & Security > Location Services > Taiwan Eye and allow location access. You can still use the map, search, and favorites without granting permission.
Why will a CCTV feed not play?add
Check your internet connection first. A feed may also be temporarily unavailable because of source maintenance, weather, or a streaming interruption. Try again later or open another camera.
How do I search for a road or district?add
Tap the search icon in the navigation bar and enter a road, camera, or district name to see matching results.
How do I preview or save a camera from the map?add
Open Map and tap a camera marker to preview the feed. You can add or remove it from favorites directly on the preview card or camera detail screen.
How do I use full screen or Look Around?add
On a camera detail screen, tap the expand button at the lower-right of the feed for landscape full screen. If Apple Look Around is available there, you can also open the surrounding street view.
Why are there no cameras in some areas?add
Camera coverage and availability depend on the original open-data source. Some cameras may be offline, under maintenance, or not yet included by the provider.
